Hi takako! Yuki has a few attacka a day now. In between, she's great! During, i want to end it all for her... Hang on or let go is the big question... And i don't have the answer...
Actually, her situation is getting worse, not better.. She has a few attacks a day now, where before just once a day. During last night's attack i made up my mind to ask the vet to euthanize her. He refused, and wanted to do more exams (again). He said in Japan euthanasia isn't common. I said that there's a question of QOL (quality of life) vs prolonging life, muriari de. He gets to see her when she all right, i get to see her when she's gasping for breath desperately for two hours at a stretch, and thinking: This is NOT living, this is NOT life as it was meant to be! In the west, some people put their pet to sleep for invalid reasons, like moving to a no-pet apartment building, but in Yuki's case, it's very different. Anyway, he didn't want to do it, and so Yuki and i will have to put up with the suffering longer, courtesy of the doctor..

I am glad to hear that.
Though the question you have, is very very difficult to get right answer. Wish we could hear her thoughts... ;(
