This blog from Japan is about some of the lovely creatures I've been lucky to encounter,
and about stuff unrelated, but interesting.

Hope you enjoy looking at the pics of some of my friends and reading a bit about them.
Not only animals, there's some nice people in the blog too!

Hi takako!
Yuki has a few attacka a day now. In between, she's great! During, i want to end it all for her... Hang on or let go is the big question... And i don't have the answer...

I am glad to hear that.
Though the question you have, is very very difficult to get right answer. Wish we could hear her thoughts... ;(

Actually, her situation is getting worse, not better.. She has a few attacks a day now, where before just once a day. During last night's attack i made up my mind to ask the vet to euthanize her. He refused, and wanted to do more exams (again). He said in Japan euthanasia isn't common. I said that there's a question of QOL (quality of life) vs prolonging life, muriari de. He gets to see her when she all right, i get to see her when she's gasping for breath desperately for two hours at a stretch, and thinking: This is NOT living, this is NOT life as it was meant to be!
In the west, some people put their pet to sleep for invalid reasons, like moving to a no-pet apartment building, but in Yuki's case, it's very different. Anyway, he didn't want to do it, and so Yuki and i will have to put up with the suffering longer, courtesy of the doctor..
